Clunky, slow, unoptimized. Really disappointed. Youre better off with one of the free podcast clients.

Is anyone else experiencing podcast starting and stopping continuously? It does it on Wi-Fi and LTE
This is it better than the free Apple Podcast player: not real automatic playlists, just manual per-download ability to manually move each and every update you get somewhere else. Who has time for all of that. What a waste of time.
Basically a skinned version of the stock Apple podcast app. It allows you to change speed of playback, create and manage multiple playlists, and it improves your ability to organize episodes (such as greying them out when they have been played). Button mapping is better -- I found with the Apple podcast app I was constantly starting playback when tapping the upper left icon, when only intending to bring up the menu. So frustrating. This app makes improvement to the biggest issues I had with the stock Apple app. Worth 1.99 to me. **UPDATE, 9/2016--This app hasnt been updated in a very long time, and the bugs are starting to creep in. Screen jumps when swiping to delete an episode, and the search for podcast function is hobbled due to a formatting error that overlays a bunch of text onto the search box.
Can subscribe to podcasts via URLs when necessary. Configurable. Have used for a few years.
Just downloaded. Huge improvement from Apple native app.
This app is almost unworkable. Podcast episodes will display, but cannot be selected to be saved or played. I emailed support twice with no response. Dont waste your money on this. The search continues for an acceptable Podcast app...
I dont know how I lived without this App. Hours in the car have turned constructive! I keep a lineup going all the time. Easy to use. So many podcasts to choose from!
It was difficult navigating through an individual podcasts list of episodes. I couldnt see the full episode title unless I tapped to click to play. Despite being a comfortable playing app, I have decided to switch to Overcast.
Appears to not be coded to deal with iPhone 6 & 7 screen sizes. Feels clunky. Doesnt function gracefully when podcasts such as No Agenda use discreet album artwork for each episode.
Only thing I would like changed is I would like to set a custom sleep timer.
PodCruncher is by far the best podcast app. Its simple and neat. It lets me do what I want. Other podcast apps try to be too "smart". PodCruncher is wonderfully intuitive and lets you manage how you want. I would recommend that that they include a "related podcasts" feature when searching and fix the search field which is obscured by "all title author" boxes.
The reviews dont lie. This is everything you could want in a podcast app. * add podcasts via a url link * sort podcasts by date, played, un played or manually * password locked podcast support * star favorite episodes * modifiable jump forward/backward times * sleep timer Totally worth the few bucks. Note: The search feature needs to be tweaked as it stores previous entries and the search box is floating on top of a nav bar
I ditched iTunes podcast in frustration, and have been using PodCruncher for years, but the search interface is vexing. On my small iPhone I cant search for some reason because the box is over the category selector. There is no excuse for this.
Worst purchase ever. Horrible app. No better, maybe worse, than apples podcast player
It keeps crashing when you try to do more than 1 thing at a time. Fix this! Its been doing this for months now. October 2016, since Apple update this app now crashes more than ever.
Needs to be updated for the iPhone 6 Plus interface. The interface is way too big
Move to Wisconsin in a year and a half ago I was listening to Drew on 105 and listen to him for 20 years and WRIF its like being at home thanks Drew thanks Mike Mark trudy and the gang entertaining I love the sports the news the current events just a great show thank you.
I have been using the app for the last 3 months. I downloaded it because in the description it said I can create my own playlists. As soon as I downloaded it, I had a problem with the search bar. I emailed them (and tweeted a screenshot), and… crickets. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the problem persists to this day. The app’s navigation is terrible. When you switch from “Podcasts” to “Downloads” and then back to “Podcasts,” it forgets in which podcast you were and it puts your back on the main Podcasts menu. It’s annoying. Yes, you can make playlists but you have to manually curate those as you listen to the episodes. Deleting episodes after you listen to them is about as annoying an not having a playlist. Adding a podcast to a playlist is also kinda clunky graphically. Overall, while the app is a great concept, it is implemented very poorly and the developer provides no support.
The app seems to be pretty unknown. I have enjoyed using this app. It works well. Updates are helping keep the app current.
